Over 15 Years of Experience

I have owned and operated Nanny & Puppy Pop In LLC for 15 years and have had numerous clients through the years. I often have people ask how I started my business and the answer is....it was an accident!  While working out at a local fitness club, a personal trainer told me about a mom that had a baby too young to be in the childcare area so I began to watch the baby one day a week at the gym while his mom worked out. Over the next few weeks as I began to gain her trust, I would take the baby outside for a walk. As more time went by, I began taking him to the mall to walk around and play. Needless to say, I completely fell in love with this baby! Soon, more mothers began inquiring about me and that is bascially how Nanny Pop In evolved.

I work with babies an children at my church on a weekly basis and have moms tell me they would only trust me with their children. What can I say? I have a weak spot for babies, kids, and animals and I consider it an honor to be trusted with their pride and joys.

Puppy Pop In came along about a year later and I had a career on my hands! As a young child, people would somehow find me and drop animals off on our doorstep. I have nursed birds to health, bottle fed kittens, and even laid on a porch to work with almost Farrel cats!

When I look back though, the first person I really cared for was the son of a church friend of mine. Todd was only in his mid-thirties and was in a nursing home. He had been shot years before and was in a coma. I went in cleaned him up-shaved him, cleaned his bed, and gave him baths daily. I did this for a couple years and the workers began to notice and ask if I was family. The truth is, I have always been passionate about helping people and that is why I also offer adult care.

I have been a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Missouri City for over 20 years. (I know, I know. I don't look old enough to have been a part of anything for over 20 years, but truth be told, I am 42 years old. Don't tell anyone!) The Lord has blessed my business through the years and He is well-deserving of my faithfulness to His house. Because of this, if a childcare job requires care during church services, I always receive permission from the parents to take their children with me. Missing is not an option! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call, text, or Facebook message me.

I look forward to working with you and those who matter most to you!
